MALAY TRANSLATION OF SYNOPSIS

Puisi in berkenaan orang-orang yang terlalu sibuk untuk mengambil masa untuk berehat/bertenang dan menikmati hidup. Penulis menggunakan perkataan "kita" untuk memasukkan dirinya dengan seluruh manusia dalam dunia, iaitu orang-orang yang berada di sekelilingnya. Dia menyatakan bahawa KITA terlalu sibuk dengan hidup kita sehingga tidak bersyukur dengan hidup dan alam sekitar. Kita tiada masa untuk berehat dan melihat suasana di sekeliling kita. Dia menyatakan bahawa jika kita tidak mengambil masa untuk berehat, kita akan mempunyai hidup yang berkualiti rendah dan dipenuhi dengan tekanan. Oleh itu, puisi ini menggalakkan kita untuk berehat lebih banyak.

(a) In stanza 2, why does the persona suggest that we look at our surroundings like 'sheep or cows'?

      - He wants us to look long at our surroundings without any care or worries like the animals.

(b) In stanza 3, which word tells us that the persona is referring to the country side?

     - Woods.

(c) What does 'A poor life' mean?

     - A meaningless life./ It means that a miserable life of a person that filled with worries and sorrow. 

(d) How do you think he persona feels in the poem

     Give a reason for your response.

     Response: I think the persona feels disappointed because nowadays human minds are preoccupied  with temporary goals in life.

     Reason: The persona mentioned again and again that we have 'no time' for so many good things while we only have time for things that are not really beneficial for our mind and soul.

(a) Based on the poem, what does the persona ask us to do?
     - The persona asks us to take time to enjoy and take time to appreciate the beauty of nature around us.

(b) State one natural element mentioned in the poem.
     - Stars / Streams.

(c) In stanza five, what does the word they refer to?
     - It refers to Beauty's feet. 

(d) Do you think it is important to spend more time for leisure? Give a reason.
     - Yes. Leisure makes us feel more relaxed and mentally happy.
